Q and A

Ask me a question?

A few friends (Angie, KateVanessa etc..) of mine have been doing a little Q and A on their blog's and thought I should join in the mix.
If you have a question about anything leave it in the comment section at the end of this post.  If I don't know the answer (as if!) I will make it up. I Answered a few of the obvious questions to get the ball rolling.
 :)

Question:

I know that most of you are gonna ask me,  how did yo get so damn cool?

Answer :

 it wasn't from Kool aid!
Recipe for cool: Empty your pockets of all money, Mix Bourbon, Stone ale, Luna sandals, Sports kilts, sportmulti vitamins, nuun, cep and moeben sleeves, disc golf, some soft sand, a pelt , a pile of avocado's and hole bunch of running.  Blend it all together and you have one happy dumb ass and happy is really cool.

Question:

Are you really running for president?

Answer:

Well, I'm too young for the 2012 election. 2016 Sure why not but I need a first lady two.  It might be good to have more than one to get the Mormon vote.

Question:

Where do Babies come from?

Answer:

Best explained by the movie Kindergarten Cop

Don't be shy.  Ask what ever you want.  If you need love advice (do the opposite of what I say) or help picking your lotto numbers that's fine too.

I will try and answer all questions by sometime next week

  1. This was a cool question, so you get it back. You must choose 1 and why.
    1. Give up drinking and you will never get injured again.
    2. Give up running and all your drinks are free for the rest of your life?

Okay these are really lame questions. I'll try and do better next time. Give me a bottle of wine and I will get back to you.

  3. Perfect timing. Although we barely know each other I DO know you have a great sense of humor and since you are friends with some of those crazy girls (noted above) I know you can hang with these questions:

    • If you could have superhero powers what power would you have and why?
    • Besides running what do you like to do in your "free" time?
    • What's your favorite beer?
    • If you were reincarnated as an animal, which animal would you be?
    • One day you wake up and realize you have a magic wallet that (legally) gives you as much money as you want to spend for ten days only. What do you spend your money on?
    • what year did you graduate from high school?

  7. I have some huarache related questions, because you are the man when it comes to huarache running.

In one of your older posts, you said that you hate Vibram Cherry for huaraches. Can you say why? I'm just curious. I currently have a pair of the new Invisible Shoes Feel True soles for running. I like them, but I am also thinking about getting a DIY kit from BFT to build another pair of running sandals. For running, would you still recommend the 6mm Vibram neoprene and the suede top (for reference, I mostly do road running)? What about the laces? I am comfortable in the IS nylon laces, but I like the idea of the Equus laces. They also look cool. I have seen some comments elsewhere that they are not the best for running. What do you think?

Also: Did you ever do the 1 mile, 1 taco, 1 beer challenge that you described in the Birthday Shoes interview? If so, how did it go? I thought it was a brilliant idea.

I did the Camp Pendleton Mud Run a couple of years ago down in San Diego. If you haven't tried that race, I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the opportunity to ask a few questions.

  8. I thought of loads of sensible question but who needs them! So here goes.

If they made a film about you who do you think would play you?

Also have you ever considered running in the UK we have foul weather and if that's not tempting enough I don't know what is :)

  9. From your writing I understand that you did not run in high school.

    Why not?

I ran in HS & college and just never stopped & I know I'm a small minority. You also show that some of the best runners out didn't start the earliest.
